Building Inspector

All inspections are available outside of Inspector office
hours from 7:00AM, Monday through Friday call for appointments.
Permit application packets and a drop box are available in
the hallway next to the building inspectors office door.
As of July 1, 2009 ALL persons or entities that engage in
construction, or offer to engage in a construction business
that effects public buildings, places or employment, and one
and 2 family dwellings public swimming pools, and water
attractions need to obtain a
Building Contractor

Without this number you may be denied a building permit.

The State of Wisconsin requires all
one and two family dwelling contractors to have the
following certifications before doing any work on one
and two family dwellings, including attached garages,
decks, roofing, siding, doors and windows, etc.
1. Dwelling Contractor
Certification
2. Dwelling Contractor Qualifier
Certification
Please provide both numbers when filling out the
building permit application.
