Hazardous Waste

Have you wondered where you might be able to dispose of household hazardous waste or chemicals that are no longer useable?

Download a 2008 Hazardous Waste Flyer

The following is a list of 2008 dates for hazardous Waste Collection

There is no charge for County residents (except for the full disposal of computers). Be prepared to show proof of residency. The program is funded with County tax dollars. When those funds are depleted, the site will close until funds are again available.

Hazardous waste if not disposed of properly can create a potential health risk to people and can threaten our environment eventually contaminating our groundwater, rivers and lakes.
