Trails of Plymouth
Recreation Trail: This
trail begins at Sunset Drive in the northwest part of the city,
which comes off of Sheboygan County's "Old Plank Road Trail." It
travels southeasterly, following Sunset Drive, crosses Surhke Road
and travels east through City Park. The trail crosses North
Milwaukee Street (STH 67) and winds around behind the Riverview
Middle School until it reaches the Plymouth Youth Center. The trail
picks up at the Mullet River Dam in Anton Park and continues
southwest under Eastern Avenue along the Mullet River until it
reaches Stafford Street. The trail crosses Stafford Street and
continues through Utility Park until it reaches North Milwaukee
Street (STH 67). The trail continues in H.M. Meyer's Nature Park
from the parking lot on Daleview Drive to the dam and a grant from
the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will allow the trail
to continue through to North Milwaukee Street (STH 67). All parts of
this trail are paved 10 foot wide and it is 2.27 miles in length.
A map of this trail is
available at the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Office at City Hall.
