The purpose of the Plymouth Adult Community center is to create and to maintain a climate of respect, trust and support for older adults. The center is committed to providing an active lifestyle for adults in our community. The center offers the opportunity to develop their potential as experienced adults and to share their wisdom, insight and skills with others through diversified programs of health, recreation, education, community affairs and volunteer service. This affirms their continued contribution and helps them maintain a vital role in our community.
SERVICES:
• Provide a monthly newsletter identifying programs that are available for center participants.
• Provide space for groups to congregate for the purposes of social interaction which includes card playing and games.
• Provide wireless internet and limited computer education.
• Partner with other organizations to bring health services to center participants including hearing aid checks, blood pressure checks, and foot clinic care.
• On occasion, coordinate outside speakers for a special discussion or presentation on topics that are of interest to senior citizens.
• Participate with other building tenants to promote opportunities for intergenerational programming.

The Plymouth Adult Community Center is a multipurpose organization that provides a variety of services and activities for adults 60 and older. All Senior adults are encouraged to take part in the services and activities. The Adult Community Center is located at 1500 Douglas Drive – Suite C, and you may contact them by calling (920)892-4821
Recreational Opportunities
Do you have unspent energy but no outlet for it? A number of recreational activities take place at the Adult Community Center. Some are weekly activities and some are special events. Examples of the activities you can become involved in are exercise classes, a walking group, craft classes, tatting classes, dominos, card playing, dart ball, wii, billiards, and bingo.
Educational Opportunities
At the Plymouth Adult Community Center we offer many opportunities throughout the year that will expand your knowledge. We invite you to enjoy the hands-on workshops in ceramics and other crafts, computers, or enjoy a good book from our library services. If you prefer, come and expand your knowledge with our guest speakers as they share information on financial planning, health and government issues.
Health Programs
Every day everyone is made aware of living healthy. At the Plymouth Adult Community Center we provide a variety of health related services. The services provided include a foot care clinic, flu and pneumonia shots and blood pressure checks, and hearing aid cleaning and adjustment clinics.
Plymouth Adult Community Center Newsletter
The Plymouth Adult Community Center offers a monthly newsletter with a list of activities and special program’s offered. Copies of the newsletter are available at the Senior Center, the Plymouth Public Library and several senior apartment complexes throughout the city.
Food and Fellowship Site
The Plymouth Adult Community Center also hosts a meal program which is operated by the Sheboygan County Human Services Department, Division on Aging. Their monthly menu is also included in the Senior Gazette newsletter. Transportation
Transportation is provided by the Regional Transit Connection which is a division of Sheboygan Transit Co. They provide transportation in Sheboygan County for the elderly and disabled. Please call 459-3420 for information on rates and times available.
Volunteers
Volunteer help is vital to the ongoing programs at the center. More help is always needed and appreciated.
