Parks and Recreation

PARK SHELTER RESERVATIONS begin Monday, February 3 at 7:30 A.M. in the Clerk’s Office at Plymouth City Hall, 128 Smith St.  The Smith St. doors will be opened at 6:30 am.  Arrivals should take a number so they are served in the order in which they arrived.

Plymouth’s extensive parks system is home to seventeen parks that provide a wide variety of recreational opportunities.  Baseball, Frisbee-golf, biking, swimming, tennis and nature walks are some of the activities our parks offer.  Plymouth boasts the only recreational ski hill in Sheboygan County as well as an ice skating shack and cross country ski trails. Park Reservations for one of our picnic shelters can be made for the new year beginning the first Monday in February.  Reservation forms are available at city hall or online here:  Parks and Youth Center Rental Agreement.  Checks should be made out to the City of Plymouth.

The mission of the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department is to provide quality leisure time, services and facilities to the residents of Plymouth. This is accomplished through department programs and services, as well as preservation and improvement of the local environment.

The goal of the department is user satisfaction.  Communication between the service user and provider is encouraged.  The department responds to citizen concerns and continually strives to improve upon services.
