Community Policing Neighborhood Watch
Neighborhood
Watch began in Plymouth in 1995, shortly after a large group of
concerned citizens attended a "Public Forum on Safety" held one
evening at the Plymouth High School cafeteria. Organizers planned
for a "good showing" of citizens at this meeting, but were stunned
when over 350 persons tried to attend what turned into a
standing-room only event!
Supervision, support, consultation and training are provided by the Community Policing Officer. For further information or to inquire if there is an organized Block Watch on your block, contact the Plymouth Police Department
